15 year old activist, Jhanvi Behal who got an award for contributing to ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ criticized Kanhaiya Kumar and challenged him for open debate on the topic of freedom of expression. She stated that what Kanhaiya stated about PM Narendra Modi isn’t appreciated at all. Instead of this criticism, he could have pointed out people who raised anti-national slogans. Further, she stated that PM Modi is working effortlessly for the betterment of nation and that sitting at home and scorning at someone is an easy task. Jhanvi invited him for an open debate on what he told about PM Modi. She pointed out and stated that with these critical remarks, Kanhaiya is pointing out against people who elected PM Modi. She says that since there are so many anti-National slogans being raised in JNU, he must keep a check on the University and not criticize the PM.
