Matthew Walzer, 19, was born with cerebral palsy, a disorder that inhibits the movements required to put on or tie his own shoes. In 2012, Walzer when was 16 wrote to Nike about his difficulties and asked for help. Nike's CEO Mark Parker personally reviewed his letter and sent it to Tobie Hatfield, Nike’s senior director of athlete innovation. Hatfield took three years and built this master piece which is now ready to be launched in the market. This video shows how this shoe works and how this all started.
